Blanche Bostic Obituary

BOSTIC, Blanche "Esther", passed away February 10, 2010 in Tucson, AZ. She was born in Otisville, MI to Claude and Gladys Mae Russell May 31, 1917. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Thomas Joseph Revei; their son, Gerald K. and husband, Robert Lee Bostic; sisters and brother, Rhodabelle, Juanita, Nila and Ralph. She is survived by stepchildren, Charlotte (Richard) Fleming and granddaughter, Sheila (Anthony) Hewlet, Oletha (William) Gustus and grandchildren, William Robert, Richard and Elizabeth (Thomas) Nazzaro; Lawrence (Beverly) Bostic and grandchildren, Connie (Anthony) Bernardini, Brenda (Frank) Ayon and David (Tracy) Bostic. There are eight great-grandchildren, Michaela Gustus, Anna and Mari Nazzaro, Courtney and Andrew Ayon, Christopher, Cody and Isabella Bostic. Also surviving are nieces and nephews in MI. Outgoing and adventuresome, she never met a stranger. She had traveled the globe and was taking tours and cruises well into her eighties. If there was a card game going on, she would find it. And never mention going to the casino unless there was a seat for her. Esther retired from Hughes Aircraft Co. in 1979. Bon Voyage, Grandma! We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Rich and Holly and their staff at the Desert Haven Adult Care Home and to Vicki and her staff at the Carondelet Hospice Home Care Program for the love and care given to us and to our beloved Esther. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Tucson Community Food Bank or Carondelet Hospice Home Care Program. Services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1950 W.
