Bobby Palmer Obituary

PALMER, Bobby Eugene, arrived in his heavenly home January 17, 2011. He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1931. He is survived by his wife, Karen of 39 years; brother, Jim (Irene) of San Antonio; sons, Mark of Denver and Jeff (Heather) of Temecula, and granddaughter, Charlotte. Bobby served in the Navy from 1949 to 1953. He was an independent sales rep, working all along the West coast. Most people would say of him that he never met a stranger and was always including the outsider. He loved his dogs and is able to run around with them in the fields of Heaven with no more pain and able to remember everything he had forgotten. Memorial Services will be held at the DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011.

Bobby
I didn't really know you that well but being a dog lover myself like the idea they will be romping with you in the heavenly kingdom of God. Karen I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and give you comfort.

It was a gift from our Heavenly Father to get to know Bobby. He was always kind, and had a brightness in his eyes that let you see his real person, even if the Alzheimers made him unsure of his relationship with you. If you asked him how he was, he would answer with his sweet smile and bright eyes, "There's nothing to complain about." I know he challenged my attitude on more than one occasion. We love you, Karen, and have a deep appreciation for the way you walked with your husband through this illness. And, we rejoice with you in the promise that you will see him again, well and whole! - Rick, Lori and family

I never met Bobby, but I felt like I knew him. He was so blessed to have Karen in his life. He has now gone home to be with Jesus. May God Bless all of you. We love you and you are in our prayers. -Rebecca Williams and family
