Rick,
I wanted to reach out and tell you of a recent synchronicity. I was traveling through the LA airport yesterday and saw a women who looked just like you late wife. While I was checking my emails upon return, I received an email from Legacy reminding of Catherine's loss and happen to notice she had a twin! It's something I had forgotten and am pretty convinced it was her sister I saw!
I know these kinds of reminders can be difficult, but I hope you are doing well. Would love to get together anytime for coffee.

Dear Rick,
I was shocked and saddened to recently discover the loss of Mrs. Sivilli. I was privileged to be one of her students many years ago at Green Fields. As the heart mourns the loss of a beautiful soul we can take some comfort in having had the honor of knowing her. My deepest sympathies.

Rick, you may not remember me. I'm one of your old hiking buddies from Salpointe. I did not know Cathy, but I felt very sad when I read that she had died. It is obvious that you and everyone loved her very much. My thoughts are with you.

Very, very sad to hear of Cathy's passing. The Asbell twins and I grew up together in a small rural New Hampshire town and graduated from high school in 1973. It seems like light years ago now but we were idealistic young people then, eager to strike out on life's journey. I knew from Cathy's kindness and ambitions, strong work ethic and upstanding character that she would proceed to accomplishing much in adulthood. My heartfelt sympathy is extended to her loved ones, family and friends. May God's presence provide comfort and peace.

Dear Richard,
I was shocked to hear of Cate's untimely death. My two boys, Weston and Wade, were inspired by Cate's teaching at Continental last year. I enjoyed getting to know her, especially during the trip to Washington D.C. and the planning of the 8th grade graduation. Cate was always calm, strong and shared an infectious smile. I'm sorry for your loss.

We mourn with you and are holding you--and Cathy--in our thoughts and hearts.
Some years ago, Cathy sent us a condolence card in which she included Walt Whitman's poem, "A Noiseless Patient Spider." Now these lines have been providing comfort once again:

My drive down Camino de Oeste will never be the same again. It will forever cause me to pause, think of you, your loss and the preciousness and fragility of life. We are neighbors. We met years ago briefly and though I'd never met Catherine my family and I have held you in our hearts and thoughts over the days of the past week. We are so sorry for your loss. I was shocked and so very saddened to hear of "Cate's" passing. We joined our alto voices in the Tucson Masterworks Chorale and it was always such a pleasure being around her. She and her smile will be missed.

It saddened me to hear the news of Cathy's passing. How well I remember her sitting beside me in the FMRHS band, both of us in the clarinet section. It has been 34 years since our graduation, I haven't seen Cathy or Cindy since 1973, however when news arrives of this nature, we are all family.
Know that you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply saddened about the loss of Mrs. Sivilli. She instilled in my grandson a love of science and a desire to achieve. I will forever be thankful for her. She inspired so many students at Continental School. They will find another teacher but never a replacement. Thank you for allowing her to share her life with the lives of Continental School science students. This is for Dillon Bledsoe, one of her students.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Cathy's tragic passing. She was so kind when we last spoke about my son at the Bed and Breakfast in Bisbee. We never understand when a loved one passes so suddenly, but please believe that she continues to sit beside you.

I am very saddened to hear of Cathy's sudden death. I sang with her in the Tucson Masterworks Chorale as a fellow alto. She was one of the kindest people I met in the Chorale. Her friendly personality always brought a smile to my face. She will be very sorely missed by those who sang with her.

Please know how deeply saddened John and I were to hear of the tragic and untimely loss of your dear wife, and our wonderful friend, Cathy.
She was the definition of "spunk." I remember her playing handball at the TRC with a broken collarbone - but she could have cared less - it was just all that fun that she needed to have! What a joy to have been part of her life.

I'm so sorry for your loss, our loss really. I worked with Cathy at Green Fields, and she was indeed the model of a teacher for alll of us. She also helped design our landscaping in the backyard. Plants she reccommended are still thriving there.
