The Maibauers were a big part of our neighborhood growing up. Always a kind word and the first to help someone. I’ll never forget the new white and gold F100 and the first trailer. We sure had a great childhood. Best to you always

My remembrances are from Char as a parent at school where I was a teacher a very long time ago. I have recipes from her that always remind me of those days. It was in the 1970's and I was in a special project at the school with another man who went on in the district. I became a "stay at home Mom" but still remember Char so well. Robby

Sorry for your loss. I too have some great memories of years past when Aunt Char and Uncle Bob came to Michigan. I have missed their visits these last few years. So sorry once again for you all!!!!! I have some good memories of your mom and dad when they would do their road trips to michigan they would always make it a point to stop off in Iowa to visit us!!!! I thought that camper was the best :-)!!! They were some awesome people and will be missed by many!!!! Keep your heads held high!!! Love you guys, Cousin Tami
