David de Geus Obituary

David John de Geus, Jr., 55, was born August 18, 1951, in Redwood City, California and passed into the light of the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2007, in Tucson, Arizona, following a nine-month battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan, and brother, Ronald. He is survived by his father, David John de Geus, Sr. (Ruth); brother, Robert de Geus (Denise); sister, Wendy Hilts (Mel); children, David Gabriel de Geus and Aarah Megan de Geus; grandson, Joel Perez; former wife, Gabrielle de Geus; nieces, Jillian Parsons and Alisa de Geus; nephews, Matthew Campbell, Ryan Campbell, and Andrew de Geus; all of whom he loved very much. A memorial service and celebration of David's life will be held in California on his birthday. David was a very special man who loved God, life, family, friends, and his dog, Deva. We will miss him deeply. Special thanks to Casa de la Luz Hospice.
