Emma will always be dear to my heart. Always so loving and caring yet Stern. The sweet smell of chicken tacos coming from the open window in the kitchen was a sure lure. So long as I participated in cutting tomatoes or lettuce. Glasses halfway down her nose, laughing with a wonderful smile.

I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Emma.
Emma was always a gentle person
who treated our family with nothing but love and kindness.
God bless.

Aunt Emma, we will miss you a lot. You were such a classy lady with old fashioned values and that is what I loved so much about you. I will miss our lengthy conversations. One day we will all rejoice in heaven...Love you always

When I first met you Emma, I was amazed at how you would smile and speak at the same time. The last time I saw you, 45 years later, it still amazed me the you smiled even as you spoke about the course of the illness. Emma, you spread love in all directions and it touched me,my brothers and my parents. Thank you Emma, and may you rest in peace.

I will always remember Emma as a kind and loving person who put God, her family and her many friends ahead of herself. May she rest in peace.

Emma was the best mother-in-law one could want. For 23 years she loved me as if I were one of her own. She was a gracious, loving woman whose absence will be felt in the lives of the many people to whom she was so special. Rest in peace, Nana.
Love,
Jac (your favorite -- and only -- son-in-law)

Emma was my God-mother. I will always remember her smile whenever I saw her, and I regret it wasn't as much as it should have been. My love and prayers to Armando my God-father and cousin; and to all the family.

Emma treated all neighborhood children like her own. I can still smell the odor of fresh chicken tacos from the open window off the kitchen from a house away. It prompted an immediate visitation to test the goods which were the best, just like her , the best. Her memories are forever.
With Love,

Mrs. Trujillo was a great neighbor on 19th street and treated all of us like we were her sons. I remember spending countless hours at the Trujillo house and always felt they were part of the my family.
