Eufima Chacon Obituary

Eufima Gomez Chacon April 4, 1915 - September 13, 2006 Eufima Gomez Chacon, age 91, went to heaven, with many of her loved-ones by her side. Eufima was born in San Lorenzo, New Mexico, and moved to Arizona in 1952, with her husband, Manuel, who passed away in 1994. Eufima is survived by her ten children, Patty, Mary Lou, Rudy, Christine, Samuel, Cecelia, Fred, Edmundo, Alfred, and Louis. Eufima left behind 32 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Eufima was a strong, independent woman, who was always there for her loved ones. She was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, loved elephants and enjoyed traveling. The family wishes to express a special thanks to; Casa de la Luz Hospice, and Casa de Dios Assisted Living home, for their care and support during her final days. Visitation will be Sunday, September 17, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at ADVANTAGE ARIZONA MORTUARY, 7 East University Blvd. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2006 at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave, Tucson, Arizona, with burial services immediately following at Holy Hope Cemetery.
