My condolences to Jo and family members of the McClure family. My late husband, Ralph Bishop, was Used Car Manager at Holmes Tuttle Ford for several years. He always spoke well of Frank as a boss and as a friend. I only knew him through the dealership social events but had great respect for him. He always greeted me as a valued friend and it was reciprocal.

My condolences on the passing of your husband, father and grandfather. I worked for Holmes Tuttle Ford in the mid eighties (A "Lot Lizard" parking car) before I was hired by Tucson Electric Power. "Mr. McClure" was a great employer and I have many fond memories of my time there. Saturdays were the best day as Frank would buy lunch for everybody, location being voted on by all who were working that day. I also had a good memory of him laughing - one day he asked me to put a nice white sedan in the showroom floor (back when the dealership was on Broadway) so I promptly washed my old 1965 Plymouth and drove in to the showroom. He laughed really good but of course the Plymouth was immediately replaced by a shiny new Crown Victoria. Other good memories include the turkey for Christmas and numerous side jobs available to make extra money. As my career at TEP winds down, I still wish I had a boss like Mr. McClure. I hope your memories will be a comfort to you and share your pride in Frank.
