My Big Brother,

I hear it day in and day out, "I'm proud of you". I hear from family, friends, and co workers. The one time I told that will remain in my heart and soul until the end of days. The one time that will stay with me for forever is the one time that my Big Brother told me that he was "proud of me".

Growing up and till this day in my life I am who I am because of two great men in my life, my father, you Jorge. I owe every award I have ever received, any praise that I have earned, all my success in life I tribute to you Jorge. You shaped, guided, and mentored me through some of the toughest times in my life and for that I am eternally grateful.

You are not longer with us in body but remain in spirit. Your spirit lives within me and your three priceless boys. Your legacy lives on in our hearts and within our memories. You were always there for me in life, and will continue to so in death. So whenever I succeed in life, or someone tells me they are proud of me, I owe to you Jorge. I think of you and share it with you.

Through tears I miss you, through life I honor you. You will never be forgotten my Big Brother.

Your Little Brother.

Jorge-
I always think about the last time we talked. I remember how we laughed and talked about you, Kiko and Monica growing up. I remember how you talked about Kiko and how proud you were of him and what he is doing. I think what I remember the most is how we worked through our differences. Your family loves you and not a day goes by that you aren't thought of. This past Christmas, Sonya made a candle for you in school. It's called "The Candle for Remembering". She sang a song to go with it and the whole time she sang, she cried. She said it was for you and that even though she was too little to remember all the times she shared with you, she misses you very much. You were someone that Kiko and Monica looked up to and looked to for help. You were someone they could talk to. And you still are. You are loved and missed very much and you are in our hearts and thoughts everyday.

My dear brother, my best friend. I miss you so much. I miss you calling me up "Hey, what's up sis?" like you cannot imagine. Remember growing up dad use to tell us all the time..."when mom and I aren't here anymore,..you three siblings will be looking out for each other"...well, nothing has changed,...the three of us are still looking out for each other. Only difference is, you are in a better place. I love you!!!! Your sister who misses you so much! Til we meet again brother!
I want to thank my family and friends for their support. With out you,...I wouldn't be able to move on. Thank you.
