Uncle Gilbert,
I miss you so much and think about you everyday. Nearly ten years without you. I miss our talks. About books, philosophy and life. I felt such a connection with you that I never had with anyone else. My mom says that I sound like you and laugh like you. That made me smile. Thank you for being an intellectual and for the years of motivation. The world is less exciting without you. May you be in eternal paradise and please say hi to my sister Tricia and to Tata Angel. I love you Uncle Gilbert and miss you more than words can express. All my love to Aunt Diana, Eric Paul, Mike and David.

Dear Diana and Family,
As we honor Gilbert's memory, please know how sorry I am for your tragic loss.
I have cherished thoughts of Gilbert that go back several years.
He always treated me with kindness and respect that always came naturally for him.
I will also hold so close his compassionate support as we shared a moment after the death of my precious Tricia.
Gilbert's reflection in my mind will always include that great sense of humor he possessed and radiant smile for everyone.
I will miss having him as a special brother in law and his passing leaves a huge void for so many of us.
Diana, you are in my thoughts and prayers and I ask God everyday to grant you the strength needed at such a difficult time.

Gil, you are definitely going to be missed.
No matter what type of day you were having you always had a smile on your face.
You always made a person feel like they had your undivided attention (even if you didn't care much about the subject).
You took the time to stop and say hello even when you were running late (sure going to miss those hugs).
It didn't matter how much time in between seeing each other you always made a friend feel like you had been thinking of him/her the entire time.
You treated everyone with respect.
You were always so proud of your family (it was very obvious that you loved them very much).
You were a man of strong faith.
I'm sure glad I had the opportunity to meet and to know you.
I will miss you.

Ever since I met your family, Diane, I was always happy to know each and every member of this great family. Your family is such a beautiful thing that I wished I had. I am grateful that, Jessica, my precious cousin lets me be apart of it; With so much closeness, togetherness, fun, love, and kindness. It is truly a blessing to have something so GREat, it is something that not every one has!!!! We are so sorry for your loss, Gil was such a great, funny, amazing, intelligent, hard-working, & most of all sincere person. I have so many wonderful memories of him.
