Jeanne Bernstein Obituary

BERNSTEIN, Jeanne

A magnetic individual with a beautiful balance of heart, generosity, sophistication and style, and an energy level that outpaced her own grandchildren. On May 10, 2020, befittingly Mother's Day, Jeanne found her way to peace after four years of battling cancer. We embrace this day to celebrate our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Best Friend, Adventure Partner, Trendsetter, Matchmaker… the list of her lovable traits goes on. I hope Jeanne´s family can still get my message even though she has been gone a year. I just found out today. Jeanne was a bigger than life person. She was a great cook, a loving mother and grandmother, and a savvy business woman. She was so energetic - we use to hike together with our dogs. She never seemed to tire. She had great taste- her home and Colonial Frontiers were strikingly wonderful. She was an amazing traveler -could stay healthy no matter what third world country she was in. I met her and Michael in India one year while they were on a buying trip. And she was very generous to me as a friend. I moved from Tucson many years ago but would periodically return and would have lunch or dinner or happy hour with her to catch up. Her memory will always shine. I am so sorry for your loss.

She was an amazing person! I feel so lucky that I was able to know her
And experience doing some activities with her. She had wonderful taste for furniture and accessories. I feel so sad that she is no longer with us.

I wish I had met Jeanne before she got sick. We met after, yet she was still full of life and energy. We had a mutual bond. Both being Greek we shared many stories about Greece and our adventures. We shared the love of Greek food and cooking.
She taught me something every time she came to the store. I learned about the history of the merchandise and I watched her arrange pieces to create beautiful displays.
Her talent and devotion shone through and was inspiring. I will miss her!
My deepest condolences
Love, Elaine
