Mr. berg was my 2nd grade teacher 17 years ago. He was wonderful and one of the best teachers I have ever had. For some reason I thought of him today and found he passed in january. My deepest sympathy for his wife and family. He touched many lives and I will never forget him.

I worked with Jeff for 5 years as the computer "person." He had a laid back style and did not let the little things bother him...once in a while I would "pop" in on his classroom to fix his computers...He was an excellent teacher as I had the opportunity to sit quietly many times and listen to him teach. I know he loved the outdoors and was pleased to tell me about his adventuring weekend. He also boasted about his wife (you were very much loved). I was in "shock" when he had passed away. He truly was a very good person and teacher and I'm sorry it took me this long to write on his wall. God bless him and his family. Leanne

I was so sorry to hear about Jeff, I found out today Jan. 31st. I was an aide for Jeff for about 2years at Walker school. He was also my daughters's teacher. My daughter is now 30 and still says that Mr. Berg is the only teacher who ever understood her and made her feel worthy of a student. Jeff was one of a kind.I am sorry he died so young and could not have time to really enjoy his retirement. Jeff was a wonderful person.

I am a former principal of Walker Elementary School and had the honor of watching Jeff work with children for eight years. His students loved him. They would always run up to him and wrap their arms around him on the playground. His sense of humor and his deep commitment to teaching were inspiring. He will be missed.

I remember being a bit intimidated by Jeff when I first started working with him 17 years ago - but his sly smile and humor soon won me over. Jeff was a great guy and touched the lives of so many children over the years. His death is such a loss for us all.
