May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I, too, remember him fondly. He had a great sense of humor. I was his student in 1972.

Mr. McEldowney was my 7th grade Social Studies teacher at Alice Vail Jr. High in 1958. Our class was 'a handful', especially me. He always maintained a good sense of humor, despite us. He also worked part-time as a cameraman at a local TV station. I remember when his first son was born. They lived a few blocks from my house, so I walked over to gift him some cute baby booties! He was a good teacher who I have always remembered fondly.
