Jose Rincon Obituary

Jose Luis Rincon left this earth for a better place on Saturday, January 12, 2008. He was born on December 11, 1993 in Tucson, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joaquin Rincon. He is survived by his parents, Jose Luis and Adriana Rincon.; his sisters, Bella and Juli; his grandparents, Buelis, Nani and Tata; his tios, Joaquin and Adriana Rincon, Marco and Julia Rincon, Paola Becerril, Rudy and Josie Bejarano, Bob and Nichieli Ferris and Briana Bejarano; and cousins, Joaquin Rincon, Marco Antonio and Julialejandra Rincon, Marisol, Cielo and Brisa Bejarano, and Antonio and Anissa Ferris. Guapo was a source of great joy and pride to his family. From the day he was born his life was a gift to us. He loved sports but especially basketball and the UA Wildcats. He also started enjoying volleyball this year since he had outgrown everyone in his family except for his Papi, but he was getting there. He was excited to graduate from St. Michael's and continue his education in high school. He had not decided where he was going to go but he was proud that he was wanted by UHS; he would joke that "they want me but they can't have me" because he was leaning towards going to Salpointe with his friends. He was gifted in both singing and playing the violin in the group Mariachi Brillante. Even though he was a teenager, Guapo was rare in that he was not afraid to demonstrate his affection. He gave the best hugs with his whole body. Guapo loved his family. He would play ping pong with his Papi, cuddle with his Mami, do everything with Bella and as all brothers do, he enjoyed teasing his little sister, Juli. Everyone who was fortunate enough to have met him will forever be blessed by his memory. Te adoramos Guapo, y te extranamos mas de lo que podemos expresar. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY at 204 S. Stone Avenue from 5:00-10:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Mass will be offered on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Augustine's Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mariachi Brillante Juvenil, mailed to 500 W. St. Mary's Rd. Tucson 85705 Attn: Norma.

Dear Adriana and family
I am so sorry for your loss.We all loved Jose Luis and admired his talents and intelligence.I had the pleasure of knowing him and being respected by him. I saw you at Davis the other day dropping off Juli and I couldn't come up to you to give you a hug, like you said at church,"there are no words". I pray that God gives you the strenght to go on. Give my love to your beautiful mother and a bear hug to Gabby.

Adriana, Jose, Bella and Juli

At this moment, I can’t imagine or even possible begin to understand the tremendous pain and void you must be enduring as you grief for the loss of your son, Guapo. Your son was brought into our lives for such a brief time but through his example and purposeful life he will live on forever through the small handprint he left behind with each and every one of us.

Adrianna, over the years I have witnessed and admired your diligent pursuit for the happiness and well being of your children. I love how you bring out the “best” in your children and I know that although Guapo did not appreciate being in the spot life for others, he adored you and always sought your approval and “carinos”. You are a exceptional Mother and beautiful person and your children are a reflect of you!

I pray that you find comfort in your faith and belief that Guapo’s life was FULL, full of love, peace and happiness. We will miss him dearly… he truly touched our hearts in the most humble, loving and passionate way.

May the good Lord keep you close to your little Angels wings to warm your heart and soul now and in the days to follow.

With our deepest sympathy and love,
Guadalupe, Lorraine, Marianna, Raquel, and Christian Salgado

For All Of You
May these words help to ease the pain and strengthen you.
As beautiful as this world is, it was never meant to be our eternal home. Hard as it may be to leave or to let go of a loved one we know that God has built a mansion where his children will live forever in love, peace and harmony. God will always be there to help face moments like these and will give us the strength and rid us of the pain and sorrow. Jesus came to heal. He never will abandon us. Most importantly He knows when human courage is unequal to the task and he will carry us. When there are things we cannot explain that is when He holds us closer and with His love mends our spirit and heals our broken hearts.
We all stand united and in awe of your strength. You all are an amazing example of Christianity to our whole Community. With deep admiration and respect we remain at the constant for whatever you may need from us to help alliviate and get you through this time of mourning. May God continue to ease and heal your pain as we continue to pray for comfort and acceptance.
With Love, Manny and Mary Ann Amado and extended family

To the Rincon family--
When I heard that Nichieli's nephew,Jose, died I knew what deep pain the whole family must be going through. (Note: Nichieli's husband,Bob Ferris, is my nephew.) God will be right beside you giving you the strength to endure your grief, yet able to remember the joy of Jose's life.

Yaya, Jose Luis, Bella, Juli, Nani, Tata Bejarano and the rest of the family,
We are sadden and deeply touched by the loss of Guapo. He left such a beautiful legacy at such a young age. We are in awe of the mutitudes of people that loved Guapo. The funeral services were perfect just like him. Guapo brought the people to the house of the Lord to learn, to love , to listen, to cry and to laugh. Just think, Guapo is still teaching and sharing even from Heaven! His work is never done! We wish we could take the pain that you feel, but we know that God will carry you and enlighten your path. He has given you strength and your faith will continue to give you peace. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. But most of all, remember that you do not walk alone carrying this pain but that we all walk with you and feel your grief! We now have a guardian angel watching from above. We love you and think of you daily, Marissa, Damon, Cristian, Santiago and Gabriel

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Although I briefly knew Jose, it was truly a plesure. Such pleasant and wonderful things have been said about him I only wish I had known him longer. One thing for sure is that he has gone to a better place. A place where he is loved, safe, happy, never ill, never scared and never left alone. A place that is much better than this world for sure. I know words are no comfort, but with time the accepting of Jose's passing will become apparent and a little more accepting. Dear Adriana, Jose, and Family,
The news of this tragedy took my breath away. Words simply fail to express the sincere sadness and pain that I feel for your loss. Jose Luis brightened and enlivened the world while he was in it, and he will long be remembered in our cherished memories. It was my privilege to have been his teacher while at St. Michael's. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
In deepest sympathy,

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Jose,Adriana and girls,
We are so sorry. Your son sounds like a wonderful boy. He attended the school that our granddaughter attends and I know there is a saddness on campus. We love our chidren from the moment we know that they are coming into this world. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We really mean that. It saddened us so much to see Jose on TV. We can see that your saddness is overwhelming.

Jose was such a great kid - always smiling and happy but also accomplished, smart, talented, and deservedly well liked. And he indeed was "el guapo", de verdad, inside and out. His friends at St. Michael's truly loved him and miss him deeply and profoundly, a testament to Jose's beautiful soul and great personality. They will never forget him and are better for having known him. My heart goes out to his lovely, proud parents and his adorable sisters and family. -- St. Michael's parent
