Passed on Monday, April 19th, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Mom was born in Tombstone, Arizona on November 3rd, 1938. She grew up in Cochise County, where she met and married Ruben Dominguez. She had 9 children, her 3 oldest were born in Tombstone, Wilcox and Benson Arizona, with the remainder of her children born in Tucson.
She had a long career as a Chemical Technician at Pharmecil Laboratories later to become Ansell Incorporated, mixing the latex for disposable medical gloves. After the company closed, Mom started caretaking in Green Valley for a caregiving contractor, where she quickly became a favorite of a lot of the residents and was eventually contracted as a private caregiver having her contract bought out by her first clients. After Mom's last client passed, she decided to officially retire from the working world and became an avid volunteer at first Borton Magnet Elementary and eventually Holladay Elementary where all her kids attended when they were younger. At Borton, she started her voluntary work in 2005 by helping out in the Bird Sanctuary where she proceeded to single handedly dug out all of the buffalo grass. From Borton, Mom moved on to voluntary work at Holladay in her home neighborhood of South Park, where she worked along with other parent volunteers and also taught an after-school program on gardening. They made a huge impact on both school communities and Mom would be the one to keep the garden alive and thriving every day until the time when she couldn't anymore.
She is preceded in death by her husband and 3 children, Charles David, Roberta Ann and Sylvia Lynn, as well 1 granddaughter Alyssa Christina.
She is survived by Ray (Glenda), Elizabeth Lokey, Rosie (Jose) Galvez, Patricia (Wrangler) Kromrei, Paula (Manuel) Varela, Adam Dominguez and her son-in-law Troy Morgan.
