Elaine and I pass on our condolences to Loraine and the Stillman family for your loss. I did speak to Larry about 10 days ago while he was in the hospital. He was very clear in his mind about the prognosis and accepted it bravely. I knew that this would be the last time I would speak to him so I sent him an EM a few days later thanking him for changing my life when he hired me back at D'Arcy in St. Louis. It was the best time of my career and Larry gave me the chance. I don't think he got a chance to open that EM so it's still in his inbox. I'm sure Loraine will get to it one day. In short I said "I love you". And the People that I helped bring to D'Arcy owe their chance to Larry as well...It's a "pass it on" kind of thing. He was a class act and Elaine and I loved the dinners we had with him and Loraine here is Chicago. We looked forward to it and we would talk long and close the resutarnt down. Loraine... we love you. And will always recall all the good times. "This Bud's for you"
