Laurie HUFFMAN

HUFFMAN, Laurie, 59, Laurie Jeanne Huffman died at home in Tucson, AZ, on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Laurie was born on September 22, 1955, in Billings, Montana, to Bert and Fern McLaughlin, the fourth of seven children. She graduated from Billings Senior High School and soon after went to work as a carpenter. She married George Steven Huffman on December 31, 1982, in Steve's hometown of Tucson, and they settled here to raise their two sons, Zachary Lee and Kevin Patrick. Laurie loved her husband and her boys more than anything, and was the glue that held them together. Laurie was preceded in death by her father, Bert, in 1979. She is survived by her husband, Steve and two sons, Zachary and Kevin of Tucson; her mother, Fern and husband, Mel Strauch of Billings; brother, Dan Mclaughlin of Helena, MT; sisters, Ann (John) Steffens of Missoula, MT, Vikki (Gerry) O'Brien of Klamath Falls, OR, Susan (Randy) Mackey of Richland, WA, Patty (Kevin) Huppert of Billings and Mike (John) Haugen of Billings; mother- and father-in-law, Carolyn and Albert Huffman of Tucson; brother-in-law, Jimmy Huffman; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Nick) Bacon of Litchfield Park and Nancy (Terry) Blair of Tucson. A private family service will be held Friday, January 2, 2015. HUDGEL'S SWAN FUNERAL HOME in Tucson is in charge of arrangements.
