Tia Lucy, Louie, Estevan, Rigo and all my Tio's family. Our prayers and condolences go out to you.

I will never forget my Tio Manny. I still remember all the family gatherings at your house. The special times at your house to see the 4th of July fireworks at "A" Mountain, front row seats. All his generosity extended to my family during the difficult times and especially the orange plumbing truck he used to drive around town in. All these and many more great memories of my Tio.
God Bless You and comfort you

My Suegro Manny

Manny is one of my heroes. The stories he told me, from his beginnings in the old barrio, the invasion at Iwo Jima, bootstrapping himself in the plumbing business and building an admirably successful life. All the while generously sharing and caring for family and friends and community. I’ve long looked up to his work ethic, integrity, generosity and commitment. He was and still is an inspiration and model to many.

Early on he ‘warned’ me that I was marrying into a different culture than what I came from. What he didn’t mention was how much that would expand my horizons and bring cultural and spiritual enrichment to my life.

Another thing Manny told me years later is that he would never have had the success without his wife Lucy’s love, support and encouragement.
I am truly blessed being a member of their family.

After attending the mass today for my cousin Manny, I so moved by the eulogy that his sons and grandson gave. I went to high school with Estevan at THS and we kept in touch over the years. I am extemely proud of Estevan for the care he gave his dad during his illness. It is not easy caring for an ailing parent but is also what we do---we love our parents. Manny and Lucia did a wonderful job raising such a caring family. May God grant you solace. Love Always your cousin.

Manny I love you and will miss you dearly. Thanks for bringing me into the Catholic Church and being my RCIA sponsor and for being the best father-in-law anyone could ask for.

You were a wonderful role model for all of us and we are proud of your many accomplishments.

There is no doubt that Manny led a full life, this is evident by his love of being an outdoorsman, working his tail off and in raising a proud family. In his later years it was pretty neat to see him pursue that “better than average” golf game. Rest now Senor Rodriguez, you deserve it!

Thank you Tio Manny for all the good times , all the teasing when we were kids. What number were you...? How about the times I would see you at the store and you would tell me to get a cart and fill it up with food .. and I would ask why Tio ? And would tell me " were going take it to your mom's and feed her!" . Again I would ask why ? And you would say "because she's too skinny !" Will miss you dearly Tio, you leave us and especialy my Mom with a broken heart... Thank you for your service to our country , God bless you and I will take care of mom like you told me and every time I saw you .
