Hello, I'm doing classmate research for Catalina High's 50th Reunion and was saddened to see that Matt had passed. I have added a photo to show how I remember him from school and I bet he is still doing Iron Crosses in Heaven! He will be remembered at our Reunion event on October 25th. Sending you my condolences.

I could not believe when my husband called me to tell me of your passing. You were just beginning to enjoy retirement and take on a new career. My husband said you were truly one of the best supervisors in his 20 year career with the department. He was excited you were going to working together again. We keep picturing you walking into Chuze Fitness to workout, always taking time to chat and laugh. You are truly missed by many. RIP.

I worked with Matt on many occasions during his corrections career. He always had a big smile and hello for me when I would see him at work. He was dedicated and hard working. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers for Matt's family and other loved ones. May the Lord give you comfort.

Matteo,
Words cannot express the sadness we feel to know you are gone. Your kind smile will continue live on in our memories. Thank you for always being a good man and handling business for us. Over 20 years, the first memories of you drinking carton after carton of milk and us yelling at you to stop. To the last few years together passing off the shift and unit to your more than capable hands. The smile and the mutual respect of the good 'ol days and looking out for eachother no matter what! God Bless you and your family! I hope they know how much we appreciated the time we had with you on the inside. Until we meet again, we will miss you!
