Michael EDMINSTER Obituary

EDMINSTER, Michael 3/5/1956 - 6/16/2016 Born in Champagne, Illinois, Mike moved to Tucson in 1960 with his father, Architect Warren Edminster and mother, Ingeborg Edminster. Preceded in death by his mother, Inge. Michael is survived by his father, Warren; stepmother, Beverley; brother, David (Yuki); sister, Lorraine; stepsister, Susie (Bryce); niece, Isolde and nephews, Wyatt and John Shaffner. Michael's avocation was auto body repairs. Working with his father and brother, David, he turned a 1964 Porche 356 (a basket case) into a most beautiful classic care (showroom ready) over three years. Building bicycles, guns and rocket models were favorite things. The family is grateful for condolences from many friends, and express their thanks to the staff at the trauma center of Banner Hospital, and the many services and support received from CODAC. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.

Michael I will truly miss you if I cannot make it to your funeral I hope somehow your family gets to hear this message. Thank you for helping me become a man. as a young person I had the privilege of being able to work with you in my profession and you taught me many things about being a man and shared with me some of the things that you have been through that you wanted me to learn from. You treated me like family you called me your friend I introduced you to my father and he remembers you as well, when you would look into my eyes and tell me you care for me and that you love me I knew it was true you have such a great heart and you were a great loyal friend everyone who got to know you would say the same thing. Your unexpected passing hurts my heart butt I know God wanted you close to him for a reason. I am going to miss you my friend please watch over me, one day we will meet again.
