Nancy Briner Obituary

Nancy Jean Briner Our beloved mother and grandmere passed away on February 23, 2012 at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Briner. She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Doyle) Douglas, Kaye (Darin) McDaniel, Karen (Bruce) Peterson and Kristine Briner; grandsons, Matthew McDaniel, Sean McDaniel and Bryce Peterson and a group of wonderful friends. (You know who you are. Thank you for being such a good friend to our mom.) Mom was born in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1940 to George and Marie Hunsinger and often described herself as a West Virginia hillbilly. She was an avid fan of the WVU Mountaineers and the Arizona Wildcats. Her favorite color was orange and she wanted NBC Nightly News anchorman Brian Williams to run for President. She was generous to charitable organizations, even when money was tight, and looked out for her neighbors. A Memorial Service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Carondelet Hospice or Peppi's House/ TMC Foundation. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.
