The sadness that came so quickly. The power that took such a beautiful person. Yes, the Lord has gained an Angel, with a bright smile and in peace, pain free. Love to the entire family. My heart aches along with you my dear, Elaine. Great memories we share of the fun we had. RIP my dear friend, Oscar.

My prayers are with Oscar's family and friends. I knew him at Ben Franklin years ago. I remember his ready smile. He was a great coworker and a nice guy, who brightened the day for those around him.

To the Salgado Family.. My deepest condolences.. Oscar and I became fast friends many years back..1992..And that beautiful gentle soul has been making my life brighter since. There's not a day that goes by since he left that I don't think about something he said or did..Many of us who knew Oscar thought something was strange when he didn't show up to an annual event. Oscar was very prompt that way. If he said he was going?..He would be there with bells on. My heart hurts knowing that I won't get the chance to say.."Hey? Let's meet at Bison Witches for lunch and then go find something beautiful for your apartment?..Perhaps someone left a Gouguin at the street fair?"..We were good at sitting for hours listening to music..Talking art and all that was beautiful in the world..Oscar was one of those remarkably beautiful souls that comes once in a blue moon. How fortunate we all were. How it all left us feeling cold and vacant way too soon.
Oscar never did like to wait. He was very staunch in his convictions. If death were to take him? It better hurry up! The days and nights both seem abit darker without him. How unfortunate it is that the world will never get to know the beauty we all saw in Oscar. How fortunate we all were to be able to bask in his light.
Miss You my friend.. Like the desert miss the rain...

What a shock! We had not seen Oscar since 1998. His old friend, John, learned of the news this AM. We had been talking about Oscar recently and wondering how to get back in touch. Sad, sad news. Condolences to all his family. Rest in Peace, old friend

Oscar was a wonderful co-worker and had a great sense of humor. I worked with him at Ben Franklin and he was always professional and had a real talent for artistic framing. He left us all too soon. RIP, Oscar.
