Attended a one-room rural school, graduated from Menomonee Falls High School, and received a B.S. degree from Marquette University, and then graduated from Marquette Dental School, class of 1944. He was the fifth dentist in his family educated through Marquette University. He returned several years ago as the new dental school opened and also enjoyed a class-reunion, his only and first after 65 years. A WWII veteran and also called to serve during the Korean War. He was a quiet but proud veteran. Moved to Modesto, CA, with his beloved wife, Ella May, and continued his dental practice until retiring 27 years ago. During his years in Modesto, he enjoyed Centenary United Methodist Church, attending many years, helping on many projects and serving as president of the Men's Club. Paul loved the game of golf and enjoyed his membership at Del Rio Golf Club and Spring Creek Golf Club. Raised four children, Carol Ann, Robert Jordan, John Richard and William Paul. The entire family enjoyed their summer home in Strawberry, CA. His beloved wife, Ella passed away after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease and Paul was an extraordinary caregiver. Paul was predeceased by his two brothers, Aaron Triller, an engineer at the White Sands Testing Center, of NM, and Roger Triller, a dentist of Juneau, WI, and his younger sister, Marion Triller Stangel, who after receiving a B.S. degree from the University of WI at Madison married Harvey Julius Stangel, and raised 13 beautiful children. Paul also was predeceased by a still-born infant daughter and two adult sons, John Richard Triller, DDS, and William Paul Triller. In 1999, Paul embarked on a new road with his partner Mazie J. Hastings, moving first to Saddle Creek Golf Community in Copperopolis, in the Sierra Foothills, and then in 2004, they moved to Quail Creek in Green Valley, AZ. They spent the last 11 years with their "bucket list." He was a quiet, steadfast, gentle and loyal individual with a strong spiritual base in his Lutheran roots. A love for the sun, golf, his pomegranate trees, and our Green Valley sunsets. Paul had an extraordinary knowledge and love of poetry, the Bible, and a good joke.
