Raymond Wilson Obituary
Our Grandfather, 91, died peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2021. Born June 7, 1929 to Raymond and Clara Wilson in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served 11 years in the US Air Force as a pilot, obtaining the rank of Captain. He met Dolores "Dee" Yefchak in 1949 and they were married in 1950. They were happily married for 65 years until the time of Dolores' passing. Don had successful careers as a home builder and real estate agent. He was a relentless optimist who cared for everyone he knew. Don is preceded in death by his son, Steven. He is survived by his two grandchildren, Jennifer and Brandon; great-grandson, Michael and lovably plump cat Buddy. A prayer will be said for Don at the St. Thomas Parish on Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the 5:00 p.m. service. A gathering of Don's friends and family will be held at his home on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Humane Society of Southern Arizona or the Salvation Army. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.

His nieces, Shari, Vicki and Gail, and Don´s sister Wanda are so sad to lose our beloved Uncle Don. We will miss his light-hearted phone calls and his beautiful baritone laugh, as well as his wise and optimistic counsel.

We are very saddened by Uncle Don's passing. He was a good and successful and giving man - not to mention handsome with a wonderful bass voice. I know his only sibling Wanda Bennett (age 92) has and will continue to miss him and is so thankful for his generosity to her over the years.
