Robert Chivers Obituary
was born July 27, 1937 in Roosevelt, Utah to Cecil and Angela Zager Chivers. After schooling and starting off his career as an Operating Engineer, he worked all over the western states and had his hands in many projects. Anywhere dirt was moved, Bob was there. He made his way to Tucson, where he met and married the love of his life, Carol Koch Chivers. These two were quite a pair. They loved to travel and had friends everywhere. Sadly in 2011, Carol got the better deal when she passed away. After the loss of his best friend, Bob still managed to travel and maintain a farm in Neola, and a home in Tucson. He had many friends in both places and will be greatly missed.
Bob passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021. He leaves behind his son, Lee (Jeri) Misdom; two step-children, Rita (David) Hellegers and David (Marina) Stone; seven grandchildren, nephews, many friends and extended relatives.
A Viewing and Funeral Service will be held in Vernal, Utah on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. There will also be a Memorial held in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 8845 N. Silverbell Rd., Tucson, Arizona at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the church of your choice. Arrangements by MARANA MORTUARY.

Bob Chivers was my uncle. He was the most hard working person I know. Love you uncle Bob Rest In Peace. You lived a long life.

Bob was the 'mayor' of our little community for years. He is best noted for driving his tractor through the neighborhood making sure everyone was OK and doing what they were supposed to do. Bob and Carol were the first neighbors to welcome us to the area and remained friends for over 40 years.
He's only been gone a week and the neighborhood feels different already.
Rest in peace, Bob. Now you're with your Carol!
