I'm saddened to hear of Bob's death. He was a very generous man to me years ago and even though we'd lost contact, he remains high on my list of good experiences. Condolences to Marilyn and the family.

My condolences to Marilyn, Bobby, Danny, Ronnie and the rest of the family. Sorry, I found out too late. I started working for Bob at the age of 17 and worked for him for 20 years. He was a great businessman and hard worker. He was always at the shop 7 days a week and one of the best plasterers and mechanics in Tucson. I've worked in Las Vegas all the way to New Mexico and everywhere I went all I would have to say is that I worked for Bob Lutz and I would get hired on the spot because everyone knows Bob and if you can work for Bob, they know you are a true plasterer. That's how much he was respected. I never heard Bob laugh, he would just grin. Bob had two grins. One happy and one mad. If he had a grin and the nerve on the right side of his cheek was pulsing, then you knew he was mad. But he never stayed that way. He was Marilyn's teddy bear.

I want to thank you Marilyn and Bob for teaching me to be a hard worker and giving me an honest living. I leave you with this saying:

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little-but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
MISS ME-BUT LET ME GO.
For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to Home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
MISS ME-BUT LET ME GO.

One, when we would talk and he'd like what he was hearing, he would a good grin. The second one was when if he did not like what he was hearing, on the right side of his grin, there was a nerve that would pulse and if it was pulsing, you knew you had better walk away slowly.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Bob was a great guy who over many years shared his knowledge of the plastering and stucco industry with me which I really appreciated. He was always the teacher. He will be missed.
