To the Sackett family I send my codenlences. I recall Dr. Sackett's name being mentioned in my home in Yuma on a few occasions (my father was a farmer and active in a few boards). I later went to the UA and then returned to teach in the COA. So many of the researchers in the heyday of the COA were incredible. Dr. S. was an instrumental agricultural leader in the state of AZ; they don't come any finer and his contributions will last a lifetime. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Aunt Emily and all -

We were very sad to hear that Uncle Bob had been in his final time. Sadder to learn of his passing. We will not be able to come, but know that you have been in our prayers and stay in our hearts.

I will miss Uncle Bob's sense of humor and dignity. The strength of his faith and loyalty has always been an example for me.

God's Peace -
