We had Ron's funeral yesterday and we read the kind words that were posted here. I will miss Ron but will always be grateful for his unconditonal love and support that he gave to his family. Anthony and I will forever be telling Papa stories to our children and grandchildren. My brother and I could not have asked for a better father then the one we were blessed to have. I love you, Papa

Ron was someone I could always trust when things got scary in the field. He knew when to be tough and when to be gentle. Anyone who knew him well knew both sides, and in between there was the fun stuff and the deeper thoughts and conversations. I remember he and I talking about the various branches of the Mormon Church and venting at some of the higher admin people at the Sheriffs Dept. He was always livened up a shift.
Keep the angels smiling, Ron!

It made me sad to hear of Sgt. Conner's passing. He was undoubtedly one of the best cops I had a pleasure to know. My heart felt condolences to his family.

" I'am deeply saddened to hear of Ron's passing, he was a great friend and mentor. Ron, whenever I think about the good times and crazy antics we did, a huge smile comes across my face. Rest easy my friend and brother."

I was assigned to Ron's squad in 1972. What a man! What a Cop! I learned from him, I laughed with him, and I called him "friend". Now, I shall miss him. Godspeed, my brother!

It is really sad to find out about the passing of a good man, a good friend, and a brother officer. Ron was one of my instructors when I went through the Sheriff's Academy in 1968. Rest in peace my friend.

I'm sorry to hear of Ron's passing... My thoughts and prayers are with Jan and the family as they go through this difficult time. My husband, Edward Beumler worked with Ron at PCSO prior to his passing in 1991. Ed thought very highly of him... God Be With You...

Sergeant Conner, it was a true honor to have worked along side of you at CDU, I took a lot of the advise you give me and it helped me through my Federal Law Enforcement career, thank you. They don't make them like Sergeant Ron Conner anymore!! God Bless You Sarge.
