I was very sad to hear about Rusty passing away. Rusty was one of the first few people I met working in my first job at Imation. He was always so passionate about what he did, and always took the time to do things the right way- which I always admired and appreciated. I always knew that if I had a question he would take the time to explain everything to me about the process or equipment I had questions about. I always looked forward to talking with him. He always had the best stories and told them in such a lively manner! I will miss him.

Rusty and I hit it off when he learned I that I had grown up on a pig farm. Rusty and his animals...
Rusty was a talented craftsman, and a generous person. I don't know anyone who appreciated others more. Knowing Rusty was a wonderful gift, and I won't forget his finger print on my life.
Frances and Tiffany, I wish you peace.

I am very sadden to hear about Rusty. He was a good friend and mentor to me and to everyone he met. His lost is very big lost. We don't get to meet to many people like him. The last time I got to see him I went to shake his hand and he refused it, instead it was a great friendly hug he gave me. Thats the kind of person he was. Rusty, you will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Dear Frances,
I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Rusty at Imation, and we became great friends. I remember after working all night, he still had time to stop by my door to say a nice word or two. But what I will remember the most is the great talks we had about everything under the sun. Rusty was a wealth of knowledge, he knew just about everything. His humor was just as hearty as his love for life. I will miss him.

I'm saddened to have just learned of Rusty's passing. He was truly one of those individuals that you couldn't help but like, and he seemed to have touched (maybe too light of a term) the lives of all of those around him, whether friend, co-worker, or family. My thoughts, prayers and condolences go to his family and friends. He will truly be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Rusty during my stay in Tucson. He taught me to be thorough with jobs and tough on me when he knew I was capable of more. It saddens me to hear of his passing. May the Lord accept him into his kingdom. Thank you, Rusty for sharing a small portion of your life with me.

Rusty had a hearty appetite for life. He loved his family, cherished his friends and had compassion for animals. He often reminded me that life is meant to be enjoyed and that is the precious gift he has given to many of us. Even though Rusty is not with us his spirit will not be forgotten.

I was fortunate enough to work with Rusty for a time, a top notch, very real, bigger than life kind of guy. More importantly his heart was his biggest asset, always willing to go the extra mile for those around him. One time I presented Rusty with a tenth indicator, he acted as though I had just given him the Hope diamond. In return, for an engagement gift Rusty presented me with a gator grip, a cresent wrench, and screwdrivers which I receieved in like kind. Every time I see the Gator grip, I have and will think of Rusty. God's speed!

To Rusty's family, I send my deepest condolences. With Rusty I shared his gift of laughter, not a simple giggle but out-right belly-aching laughter. I couldn't even sit near him during meetings. He loved to have fun. I always told Rusty he had the biggest hands I've ever seen...later I found he had even a bigger heart.

Rusty is one of those individuals that come into your life and leaves a lasting impression on you. Rusty would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it or he thought you needed it. Many times Rusty would give up his day off to come in to work to assist with various projects I was working on. I will miss Rusty’s sense of humor, his ability to make you laugh when things are not going quite right and the deep friendship we had. Fances and Tiffy my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of Rusty’s family and friends as we morn our lost and as we celebrate the life Rusty lived. It was a great privilege to work with Rusty and to get to know him. I know my life has changed to the better by knowing Rusty.
