I first met Ruth in 1959 when I was a senior at Tucson High School. I appeared in a play (Tevya And His Daughters) at the Tucson Jewish Community Center that was directed by her husband Sandy. Sandy asked me if I knew of a student who wanted a part time job working at his design studio. That meeting began my career as a professional Interior Designer.
Ruth was the "business partner" and taught me how to run a design business. For that help and expertise I have always been grateful. Although Sandy's design expertise was valuable, Ruth's business sense has allowed me to continue in my own business for over 43 years. Her teaching was invaluable.
Over the years, I have spoken to Ruth on fewer and fewer occasions, but each time she imparted her enthusiasm for business and life.
Ruth will be missed as a friend to many who have not been in touch as often as they wish.
For her family I wish the best of everything , as Ruth gave me the best through her teaching.
