Ryan Hanson Obituary

Ryan Robert Hanson 34, born February 7, 1980, gently passed away April 2, 2014. Ryan was an amazing young baseball coach, mentor, and friend to many Tucson area baseball players. Ryan was a loving brother to his sisters, Lauren and Nicole and his brother, Will. He was a loving son to Mike Hanson, Alison Bassoff and Michael Bassoff. A Champion as a player at Sabino High School (1997) and as a coach at Desert Christian High School (2013), Ryan left us doing what he loved, coaching. A Celebration of Ryan's life will be held at the Desert Christian Baseball Field, 9415 East Wrightstown, Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. We will hug; laugh, and cry but most importantly, we will honor Ryan. In lieu of flowers please donate to www.tybaonline.org reference RHANSON Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel.

So sad that Ryan has left us so soon. He has touched many lives of young baseball players and therefore his memory, teachings and love of the game will continue on... The Curtis family

I miss you Ryan -- I will always miss you and will do my best to make you proud. You were always a great friend to me and so many -- and an awesome mentor to the hundreds of ballplayers you have coached. You are remembered and loved.
