Don Beaudreault
October 5, 2012
I was a pianist at the Red Rooster and Gold Bar Room manager the summer of 1972 and remember all the Mackins with great admiration. I am deeply sorry to hear of Steve's passing. The Rev. Don Beaudreault, Puerto Vallarta, MX
Susan Anderson
September 26, 2012
Stephen had many strong connections with Tucson: worked at El Dorado through school (HS and UofA), lettered in Track at Palo Verde with many great team mates who loved distance running through the desert, AKL Fraternity at UofA, Theater Department at UofA furnished many directors, actors, correographers, costumers, etc. to Imperial Players and Cripple Creek Players in CO, many good and dear friends across the city. His celebration of life was at the Imperial Hotel in Cripple Creek on September 13, attended by over 400, a testament to "the dash" - that space between dates of birth and death. "Sister" Susan is without brothers now and missing him so much.
