Vincent M. KELLEN

KELLEN, Vincent M., 77, passed away on July 1, 2013 in Fredericksburg, VA. Vince was born April 20, 1936 to Joseph and Rose (Koob) Kellen in Iona, Minnesota, the youngest of three children. He graduated from Chandler (MN) High School in 1954. He met his beautiful bride, June Fay Miller, and they married in Iona, MN on November 12, 1960. In 1960 Vince began a long career in the insurance industry, relocating to Tucson in 1983. He changed careers and worked for the Catholic Diocese of Tucson as a counselor at Holy Hope Cemetery. In October 2012, Vince moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia to be closer to his grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially if there was a card game or bingo to be played. Vince was always an active member within the catholic churches he attended. Vince is survived by his son, Scott (Kelli) Kellen; son, Joel (Jennifer) Kellen; daughter-in-law, Terri Kellen and his grandchildren, Steffen and Kelsie. His parents, his beloved wife, June and his son, Terry, preceded Vince in death. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Hope Cemetery with Fr. Miguel Mariano officiating. Inurnment will follow. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson.
