Erlene Raye Lee

LEE, Erlene Raye, 77, of Estill Springs, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at her residence. She was born June 21, 1939, in Winchester to the late Thomas Earl and Doris Ray Renegar. Mrs. Lee was a bank teller and a member of Owens Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She loved cooking, volunteering at the hospital and especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo Lee; sisters, Anne Renegar and Patricia Plattenburg; and brothers, Tommy and Donald Renegar. Survivors include daughters, Sabra (Mark) Perry, of Winchester and Sonda (Kelly) Lewis and Stacey (Dwight) Duckworth, both of Estill Springs; sisters, Faye (Bill) Steakley, of Murfreesboro, Kaye (Clyde) Hall, of McCormickville, Indiana; Mary Bennett, of Estill Springs, Linda (Everett) Baker, of Winchester, Cherry (Dale) Amacher, of Estill Springs, and Montie (Gary) Deanhardt, of Franklin; grandchildren, Kelsea (Rob) Damron, Rebecca Duckworth, Walton Duckworth and Robert Caleb Lewis; and great-grandchild, Rayelee Bel Damron. Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, where services will be conducted in the chapel at 2 p.m. today, April 28, with interment following in Franklin Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Rob Damron, Caleb Lewis, Walton Duckworth, CJ McDonald, Mike Hopkins and Wyatt Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Amacher, Gary Deanhardt and Everett Baker. Memorial donations may be given to the Owens Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church or the Multi-County Cancer Support Network. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
