Ted Sanders

SANDERS, Ted, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, May 20, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton at the age of 81. Mr. Sanders was born in Franklin County to the late Frank and Lillian Blackburn Sanders. During his life he worked as a machinist supervisor at A.R.O. and was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Tullahoma. Mr. Sanders was also a Ma-son, a Shriner and a member of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Frank "Sonny" Sanders; and one sister, Thelma Jean McClure. Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Eloise Sanders, of Tullahoma; two sons, Tim Sanders and his wife Donna, of Winchester and Terry Sanders and his wife Kim, of Tullahoma; one sister, Patsy Solomon and her husband Jim, of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Alex Sanders and his wife Hannah, Tiffany Sanders and Dylan Sanders; and one great-grandson, Jaxon Sanders. Visitation for Mr. Sanders will be held on Monday, May 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the funeral to immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Rod Schrader and Jimmy Kesey officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church Building Fund, 965 Gourdneck Road NW, Tullahoma, TN 37388.
