Ada Francis Obituary

FRANCIS -- Ada Mae, 82, born July 23, 1923, died January 26, 2006 in Oklahoma City, OK. One of seven children, Ada Mae was born to John H. Crawford, Sr. and Beatrice Head Crawford in Sapulpa, OK. She married Charles E. Francis, March 21, 1947. She is survived by: her husband, Charles of the home, Tulsa; children, Julia A. Francis of Oklahoma City, Jeffrey C. Francis and wife, Martha, Tulsa; grandchildren, Megan and Morgan, Tulsa; brother, Ray Crawford, Denver, CO; sister, Beatrice Voorhees, Palos Verdes, CA. Ada Mae retired from Amoco in Tulsa after many years of faithful service as a "Keypunch Operator". She, along with her husband were long time members of Southminster Presbyterian Church, Tulsa. Service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, January 30, at Ninde Woodland Chapel with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Dr. Sam Haun officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to AutumnBridge Hospice, 5924 N.W. 38th, Oklahoma City, OK 73122 or Free to Live Animal Sanctuary, Edmond, OK. Dear Chubby. So sorry to learn of Ada Mae's death. It has been a long, long time since you and I have seen each other. I have lived in Ada for 36 years now. Hope to get to Tulsa before long. If so, I will try to call you.
