Carolyn Howell Obituary
Carolyn Howell, age 87, went home to be with her Jesus on Sept 5th. She started out this journey in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, aka, Mayberry, the small town where the Andy Griffin show was based. After meeting her beloved husband, Bobby Lee, they married and moved to Texas and then moved onto Tulsa. They were blessed with two daughters, Tara and Dana, which later were blessed with two good husbands, Steve and Don.
Carolyn was very active in her church, Memorial Baptist, and loved serving there and the wonderful fellowship. She was involved in her Sunday School class and Bible Study Fellowship. She and Bobby also spend seven years in London and loved traveling. When they returned to Tulsa, they continued traveling the world and serving at their church. For the final chapter they moved to Inverness Retirement Community and mom enjoyed the friends she made there for over 10 years.
God blessed her with a long and full life that she used to serve Him well. She never let anyone pass without a kind word or a story to tell. Her smile and warm personality will always be with us and give us joy as we remember her. May God be glorified for the great things He has done.

Bill and I send our sympathies as we are currently out of town. Carolyn was such a sweet and friendly person. She always had a smile and a story to tell. I served on the decorating committee at Memorial Baptist with her. Her dedication to serving was evident in every event and committee she worked on. She will truly be missed. Blessings to her family.
