Christine Gregory Obituary

Christine Launius Gregory transitioned June 8th, 2023 at the age of 99. She was born on Christmas Eve in Bristow, Oklahoma and at age 18 married Earl Dean Gregory who joined the Army and was quickly deployed to Pearl Harbor. Christine helped the war effort working at the McDonnell Douglas plant in aircraft assemblage. After the war, Christine managed the family oil field and roustabout business and later became a real estate broker. She was pretty, laughed easily and accepted everyone for who they were. She was ahead of her time---an astrologist, herbalist and psychic who lived with her daughter and daughter-in-law on their ranch communing with her beloved horses, dogs, cats, hummingbirds and barn swallows. Christine was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Earl Dean Gregory Sr. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Cheryl Gregory and daughter-in-law Pam McKissick, daughter Jeri Garrison and husband Bob, her son Earl Dean Gregory Jr, grandchildren Earl Dean Gregory III, Vicky Gregory, Michael Garrison, Sharon Mitchell, several great grand children, and friends Kathey Stephens and Anita Younger. In lieu of flowers, donate to Clarehouse Tulsa, or simply remember Christine by being as inclusive today as she was decades ago.
