To all of you who have loved, prayed and carried DB's family through this hearbreaking loss: DB loved his friends and family more than anything in the world (and his dog, Henry!) I always told him he had more friends than anyone I had ever known in my life - and that is the truth. I always welcomed DB's freinds in my home, and that will never change. Please come over anytime and visit, or just hang out a while, or whatever you need. I visited with DB a few hours before this tragedy occurred. He had hope for his future, and was well aware of what action he needed to make the most of his precious, beautiful life. DB was a tremendous athlete -- he was strong and beautiful and loved because he felt all of our strength, beauty and love for him. That is what shined out of those amazing, wise, unforgettable eyes of his. We visited about God and DB told me he knew the Lord loved him, even when he made mistakes. He had a plan to move to Colorado and start a new life there and was very happy about his decision. Whatever went wrong that night, Nicole and Daniel left together, ended up by chance at the same funeral home and both (by chance?) had their services performed by lovely Christy from Trinity Espiscopal. He loved you all, you were his life, and I thank you for the joy and friendship you gave him which spilled over into my life. Remember the lesson. Make the changes you need to in your life to live it to the fullest, and go for it. I am here for you all, and I need you. Please come and see me any time. Dayl Martin 720-1939.

My daughter, Lindsey first met DB at New Life Ranch. They remained friends over the years. I only met DB once, but could see why Lindsey liked him so much. Lindsey called me terribly upset when she heard the news. We are both keeping you in our prayers.

To D.B.'s family: I can't imagine the pain you must be in, and I am praying for all of you. D.B. was my daughter's first love. Her name is Jessica Hamilton. They dated for several months, about 3 or 4 years ago. She was CRAZY about him. I only met him a couple of times, but I could definitely see why she adored him so...handsome with personality!! They remained close and Jessica considered D.B. as one of her best friends, and always will. She's feeling pretty shocked and lost right now. But like you, I know she will always feel blessed that he was a part of her life. God bless D.B. and God bless all of you. Sincerely, Skye Hamilton-Church
