Floye Webster Obituary

WEBSTER - Floye L., 77, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness Thursday, September 10, 2009, in Tulsa, OK. She was born February 27, 1932 in Guthrie, OK, to Hugo and Gladys Mahnke. Floye retired from Chevrolet Motor Division in 1986, after 27 years of service. Until her illness, she was a nursery assistant for many years at Redeemer Covenant Church where she dearly loved "her babies". Floye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel Webster; her sister, June Wilson; and an infant son, Loren Thomas. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Alikhani of Oklahoma City; Leslie Thomas of Tulsa; granddaughter, Natasha Alikhani of Oklahoma City; and nephew, Kenneth Wilson of Broken Arrow; and numerous other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers and to honor Floye's love of animals, you may contribute to The Humane Society of Tulsa, 6232 E. 60th St., Tulsa, OK 74135. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, at 10 a.m., at Moore Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa and graveside service at 2 p.m., at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City, Family requests contributions be made to the Humane Society of Tulsa, 6232 E. 60th St., Tulsa, OK 74135 Moore's Southlawn 663-2233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com

Leslie and Teresa,
