James Maness Obituary

Maness, James Hugh

December 23, 1937 - July 20, 2024

James Hugh Maness passed away at age 86 in his home on July 20, 2024.

Jim grew up on a dairy farm in Arkansas. He joined the Air Force after graduation earning numerous expert marksman awards. He became a successful businessman, owning and operating Magnum Screen Printing for the last 50 years.

Jims greatest joy was spending time with family, friends and his faithful dog, Rocky. He was an avid handball player and served on the board at the YMCA. He was known for his sense of humor and quick wit.

He is survived by his wife Vicki, son Mike, daughter Michelle, grandson Wyatt, sister Opal.

His ashes will be scattered at Rolling Oaks Memorial Graden in a private family ceremony.

Jim's presence in our lives brought immeasurable joy, love, and laughter, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Mike & family,,,,Even though I have not seen Jim in sometime, always enjoyed playing handball, then having a few cold beers with him and others back in the day. Great sense of humor! My condolences to you & family.
