Lucas Warrick Obituary

Lucas Ramsey Warrick

Lucas Ramsey Warrick, beloved son, brother and friend passed away on October 10, 2020 at the age of 20. He is resting in the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ.

He was born on August 8, 2000 in San Antonio, TX, to Stevens and Clara Warrick. In San Antonio he attended preschool at First Presbyterian Church and The Acorn School. When the family moved to Tulsa, OK in 2006, he became a "Lifer" at Metro Christian Academy graduating in 2019 after starting in kindergarten.

Luke invested in personal relationships in multiple ways. He served on mission trips with his youth group and in various capacities at Kirk Crossing with children/youth ministries, where his special joy was connecting with kids of all ages.

Luke played baseball from ages 4 to 18. His teammates and their parents became his sports family, beginning with the OK Bulls, to the OK Kaos to Metro Christian's State Baseball Championship team in 2017.

Luke was a fiercely loyal friend to many with his sense of humor, his goofy manner, and his ability to imitate anyone with a comedic impression fit for the stage. He always ended his conversations with "love you".

Luke was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frances and J.E. Warrick, Jr., Henry and Jimmie Adams; and his uncle, Lewis Adams. He is survived by his parents, Clara and Stevens Warrick and little sister, Maggie; godparents, Holly and David Youngquist and Laura Moreno; "adopted" Tulsa grandparents, Sara and Ron Pederson; aunts and uncles, Debra Adams, Robert and Maggie Adams, Ellen and Michael Meadows; and numerous cousins.

Luke was a sophomore at Texas Tech University. The family wishes to thank the Red Raider Nation for their love and support, especially from his academic advisor, Adrienne Carnes.

We are at peace in our hope of the Resurrection, and we are confident in a joyful reunion with Luke in the loving presence of our Heavenly Father.

Luke's memorial service will be Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 4:00 pm at Kirk Crossing Church, 11420 South James Ave., Jenks, OK 74137. The service will be held outside and masks will be provided. The Warrick family encourages all who participate to leave a note or picture to the family in the guest registry book or in a box to be provided.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to John 3:16 Mission (506 N. Cheyenne, Tulsa OK 74103); Kirk Crossing Church or Metro Christian Academy (6363 South Trenton Ave., Tulsa OK 74136). Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233. Share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
