Melvin Anderson Obituary
Melvin Lawrence "Mel" Anderson, Army veteran passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 88 years of age. He was surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his one true love, Barbara Anderson. Their 67 years of marriage blessed them with three children, Barbie Ayers (husband, Terry), Scott Anderson, and Brian Anderson. They have seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Mel was an incredible golf instructor with the accomplishment of 6 hole in one's! His passion taught countless people the love of golf. All who knew Mel knew his love for golf, photography, Green Bay Packers football, and most of all love for his family. Mel will be deeply missed.
Services will be immediate family only. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to First Tee of Tulsa so that Mel's love of Golf can continue to spread. www.floralhaven.com

Papa was one of the best, I feel like I'm split in two now without him. I'll miss him for as long as I live. He now gets to play golf again.
