William G. "Bill" Beaty

1952 - 2025

William "Bill" G. Beaty, age 73, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

He was born on February 24, 1952, in Yokohama, Japan, to the late Lavelle T. and Atsuko Beaty. Bill grew up and spent his entire life in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, area, where he formed deep roots and close friendships.

Bill enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and people in general. He was never one to shy away from a good laugh or a clever remark, and his sharp wit was a constant companion to all who knew him. He loved golfing, spending time at the lake, fishing, gardening, riding motorcycles, traveling, cooking, singing in the church choir, mowing most of the yards on his block, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.

For most of his career, Bill worked as a project manager for large commercial construction projects, where his dedication and leadership left a lasting impression.

Bill's legacy lives on through his loving wife, Janice "Jan" Lynn Beaty; brothers, Bob Beaty (Tanya) and Mike Beaty (Deanna); sons, Tyler Beaty (Andrea) and Wyatt Beaty (Nealy); stepsons, Todd Villines (Tammy), Scott Villines (Reagan), and Chris Morris; and a lively group of grandchildren-Gabe Beaty, Mia Beaty, William J. Beaty, Sydney Beaty, Elle Villines (Tye Daniel), Dax Villines, Caleb Villines, Nola Villines, Aidan Mitchell, and Ansley Mitchell-along with great-granddaughter Blair Daniel.

Bill's presence lit up every room, and his memory will continue to bring laughter and joy to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his quick wit and generous spirit will never be forgotten.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Parish, 501 S. Cincinnati Ave., Tulsa, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
