William Scheer Obituary
December 27, 1951 - February 6, 2025
Rob Scheer passed away February 6, 2025, at the age of 73.
He was the beloved husband of Katherine Gottschalk Scheer (Kathy) for 53 wonderful years, a proud father to Shannon Johnson and Cory Scheer, thoughtful father-in-law to Clint Johnson and Kristen Scheer, cherished "Papa" to his grandchildren Katherine, Bridget, Elizabeth, Mac, and Charlotte, caring uncle and great-uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, and kind friend to all.
Rob graduated from Central High School in 1970 and worked for the Public Service Company of Oklahoma from 1978 to 2024 as a property accountant.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Clarence Malcolm Scheer (Mac) and Mary Sue Porter Scheer, sister, Marilynn Phillips, and brother, Malcolm Scheer.
A celebration of Rob's life will take place at the Stokley Event Center located at 10111 East 45th Place in Tulsa, on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon. Attendees are encouraged to wear tropical attire in honor of Rob's fondness for Hawaiian shirts.
