Brett Brown Obituary
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Patton and Elma Brown and Lonnie and Estelle Shirley.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy Kirkley Brown; his son, Lonnie Lee Brown; his sister, Beth E. Sherman; his parents, Jack and Naomia Brown; and his father and mother-in-law, Lewis and Faye Kirkley.
Pallbearers will be Alan Kirkley, Danny Brown, Tommy Brown, Brandon Booth, Scotty Brown, and Todd Shirley.
Honorary pallbearers are all of his uncles, aunts, and cousins, Eddie and Shelia Kirkley, Alan Kirkley, Jason and Rebecca Heath, Rachel and Jenna Sherman, godson Caleb Brown, Terry and Dorothy Williams and family, Cliff Light, Donald Dunn, Gerald Deason, Macedonia United Methodist Church family, Carroll's Creek Baptist Church family, Gilgal Baptist Church family, Russell Willcutt, Dr. E.A. Mangieri and staff, Dr. Jeff Laubenthal and staff, Dr. Cornelius Sullivan and staff, Dr. Joey Falgout and staff, and Carroll's Creek Community.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a memorial fund for his son, Lonnie Lee Brown, at Alabama One Credit Union, 1215 Veterans Memorial Parkway Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.

We are sorry to read of the passing of Brett. He fought a long hard battle. We would have been there but we did not know until we read it in the newspaper after the funeral. We know how difficult this time is, but the Lord will see you through just as He has us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Brett's wife and son during this time of grief.

I was terribly saddened to hear the news today at school. Mrs. Holcomb told me. Both of my parents have been in the hospital in the past two weeks and I haven't even looked at a newspaper. Please know my prayers will be with all of you and I sincerely care. May God give you strength and peace at this time.
Now we have another reason to look forward to heaven.
