Barbara Alene GODES

Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Passed away peacefully on December 30, 2022 after a 15-year battle with breast cancer, at the age of 81. She was a wonderful wife, incredible mother, loving and engaging grandmother, the world's greatest shopper, an amazing cook, a brave and strong survivor, and a true friend to all. Preceded in death by her parents, Ann and Lew Green; sister, Merle Green; and cousins, Bonnie Kieffer and Tomye Nash, who both died too early from breast cancer. Survived by loving husband of 62 years, Steve; children, Scott and Lorin Godes, Stacy and Michael Dockman, Darren and Jill Godes; grandchildren, Adam, Talia, Ella, Lexi, Noah, Tyler, Brooklyn, Elle, Carter, and Cole. We are grateful for the wonderful care that was provided by Dr. Bronagh Murphy, Julie Kulikowski, and the entire infusion team at M Health Fairview Cancer Clinic in Burnsville. Funeral service 1:30 PM on MONDAY, January 2, 2023 at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2323 Fremont Ave. South, Minneapolis.
