Calvin Richardson Obituary

Richardson - Beloved Husband, Father & Grandfather Age 77 Calvin Arthur, Woodbury, MN died peacefully at home with family present after a long and courageous battle with heart disease on Monday, December 2, 2002. Cal was born October 4, 1925 in Arkansaw, WI to Arthur & Ella Richardson. He served in both the army and air force during WWII, worked as a machinist and inspector for 32 years at American Hoist and Derrick and was a founding father and 20 year member of the Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department. Cal alwasy wanted to be busy and did all he could to help others. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy; children Beverly, Daniel (Bonnie), Michael (Linda), Duane (Kim) and Thomas (Charlene); 5 grandchildren; his sisters Gwen and Rose. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Memorial Service will be held 11AM, Fri. Dec. 6 at CHRIST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2500 Hudson Place, Maplewood, MN with visitation beginning 9AM. Interment at a later date. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to Christ United Methodist Church or the Woodbury Public Safety Board (fire division), P.O. Box 25991, Woodbury, MN 55125-0991.
