Celestine Edward "Von" VON FELDT

Age 95 of Mendota Heights, Minnesota Passed away peacefully on June 2, 2021, at home, with his wife and soul mate of over 50 years, Cindy and family by his side. Born on a farm in Blue Earth, Minnesota, Von, always an overachiever, graduated from Austin High School (lettered in four sports and was a multiple conference champion), proudly served in the Navy in WWII, and graduated from Carleton College and William Mitchell College of Law. His career path started in Fairmont, Minnesota running his family hotel and moved on to St. Paul, where he practiced law, served as President of The Summit National Bank, ending his career as President and owner of The Phalen Bank. Von was always ready to make the hard decisions. He was a proud grandpa and Bapa, voracious reader (3 papers a day), golfer (55 years at Town & Country Club), crossword puzzle addict, bridge player, and avid fan of his grandchildren and their sports teams. He was preceded in death by his parents Celestine J. and Genevieve Von Feldt. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Cindy, and children, Kevin Von Feldt, Carol (Bob Rubbelke) King, Paige (Jim) Krieger, Kerry (Bradley) Williams, Charles (Lisa) Von Feldt; grandchildren, Melissa, Lindsey, Krista, Jonathon, David, Michael, Patrick, Joseph, Maggie, Lauren, Brian, Allison, Gavin, Cora, Otto and 3 great grandchildren. Special thanks to the Allina Hospice team and Donna Norel for their wonderful, respectful care. It was Von's wish for a private service and Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery to be held at a future date.
