David SCHERMAN Obituary

October 24, 1946 ~ September 18, 2015 David lost his battle with cancer after a long, courageous fight. David is survived by his wife, Barbara Scherman, sister Caroline, brothers Paul and Robert, daughters Amy (Cary) and Anne, step-children Leslie, Reed, and Kayleena (Wesley), step-grandchildren Kennedy, Reegan and Ryder, mother-in-law Valore, beloved dog Bailie and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Leona Scherman, daughter Christine, father-in-law Verdie. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 23rd, 11:00am at the Phalen Lake Amphitheater, 1478 Phalen Drive, 55106. Following the service, a gathering will be held at the home of Robert and Citty Scherman, 2453 Buffalo, White Bear Lake, 55110.

Dave, sorry I missed your passing. We made it all the way through Hill and St. Thomas together and should have kept in better touch. I still remember our freshman year at Hill, emceeing the talent show in which you, Frank Bifulk, and Dave Edstrom dis a sketch to the music of Johnny Cash, "Don't take your guns to town". God rest your soul, Dave!
